Miguel started teaching salsa when he came to Finland in 1992. Founded Dance School Baila Baila in Helsinki in 1993 and has since then taught salsa, merengue, chachacha, timing, reggaeton, son and rueda de casino - all as couple dances and as choreographies.

He has performed, taught, and been a judge at numerous events and festivals. In 2001 and 2004 he won the Nordic Salsa Championship and Finnish Salsa Championship in 2004.

Bachata has been Miguel's secret passion for years. It's easy to see that he has understood the profound essence of Bachata. Miguel has weekly Bachata workshops in Baila Baila and he has been teaching Bachata in Tallin, Riga and Vilnus.

Miguel is an experienced and recognised teacher in Finland and in Europe. His classes are fun and challenging.
